WOMEN AND CLIMATE
During my internship at L'Oréal, I contributed to the creation of a handout for a panel discussion on "Women and Climate" at South by Southwest (SXSW). The handout highlighted the disproportionate impact of climate change on women, emphasizing systemic barriers that hinder their ability to adapt. It also stressed the importance of women's inclusion in climate solutions and cited research conducted by L'Oréal USA and Morning Consult on the personal impacts of climate change. The design process involved incorporating key findings from the research, impactful visuals related to women and climate, and L'Oréal's commitment to empowering women in addressing the climate crisis. The final handout served as a takeaway resource for attendees, promoting awareness and encouraging action on this crucial intersection of gender equality and climate resilience.
